Chief Product Officer
iOWNA has been created from the vision and passion of the founders, resulting in the first iteration of the product which is simple to use, while solving significant problems for its users, with great feedback from customers.
As the company grows, to achieve goals for product market fit, product adoption, and revenue and profitability, iOWNA is looking to establish core product function within the organisation, taking ownership of all product-related activities – allowing the founders to focus on the company leadership and executive decisions.
The role will involve close collaboration with the CEO and founder, who has been driving the product forward so far, at first by taking personal initiative, while working towards building the team that can move iOWNA forward and upward to the next level of maturity.
About the Role
Working closely with the CEO and founder, and our operational and technology teams, the role of Chief Product Officer will include the following areas of responsibility:
• Set the product strategy.
• Prioritise features and activities.
• Oversee prodigy development progress.
• Collaborate with operational, sales and marketing functions.
• Define, measure and report on Product Success Metrics.
• Manage product lifecycle to Increase adoption, retentions, revenue, and profits in the long-term.
This new role will be a senior appointment to the iOWNA team.
About the Person
• User-centric product mindset – demonstrated by active participation in the product development in previous roles.
• Excellence in collaboration – work well with various stakeholders to drive product strategy forward.
• Metrics focused – backing decisions with data.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enjoy participating in the full lifecycle of the product: from idea and design, via implementation and user interface, to operational considerations.
• Experience of managing product/tech teams and projects in agile environments, ideally within a growing start-up/scale-up environment.
